From the midlands and the south, approach 3 Dale End from junction 36 of the M6. Head for Kendal, but bypass this town then go along the A591 to Windermere, then Ambleside then Grasmere then follow this map.
From the north east and Scotland, approach 3 Dale End from junction 40 of the M6. Head towards Keswick on the A66, but before then turn left towards St Johns in the Vale, then head south on the A591 to Grasmere.
